The band Tegan and Sara is made up of Canadian identical twins Tegan and Sara Quin. If Bjork had twin babies, they would be Tegan and Sara. Only Tegan and Sara are less weird than Bjork and produce a more listenable indie-folksy sound. They have listed influences like The Police, Bruce Springsteen, U2 and the Pretenders. Even my all-time fav Fleetwood Mac. A good 80s foundation if I do say so myself.

“Alligator” is off their 2009 album Sainthood. The original is nice but you have to be in the right mood for it. If you are, I recommend checking out the strange original video as well which doesn’t allow embedding so it will appear as a link only below. Personally I prefer the Passion Pit remix of the song, which to date has listed 36 plays on my Ipod. I know its more.
